Apple has sent selected members of the press an invitation to an event set for October 23, which fits in with the most recent rumours surrounding the iPad Mini. The invite gives nothing away, as it shows a colourful Apple logo along with the words “We’ve got a little more to show you.”
Unless of course, you focus on the word “little,” which could hint at the arrival of the iPad Mini. Apple’s tiny tablet has been rumoured for a while, culminating recently in a price leak that puts the basic 8GB Wi-Fi version at 249 euros and the most expensive 64GB Wi-Fi and Cellular at 649 euros, or £200 and £520 respectively.
The iPad Mini isn’t the only rumoured new device from Apple though, as over the past few days, there has been talk of a 13-inch Retina display MacBook Pro, and a new version of the iMac desktop computer. There’s no way to know whether all, or none of these will be the stars of Apple’s October 23 event just yet, but it’s important to note that it’s not just the iPad Mini that’s on the horizon.
Apple’s event will take place at the San Jose California Theatre at 10am.
