Apple’s next iPhone rumoured to be coming in March 2016
We were expecting to wait until September for Apple to release the next iPhone but Apple fans you won’t need to wait that long! The rumour mill has begun and the iPhone 5se, with ”se” reportedly standing for ”special edition”, is coming sooner than we thought!
Since 2007, Apple has released 12 iPhones from the original iPhone with a 3.5 inch display and 2 mp camera to the latest iPhone 6s Plus with a 5.5 inch display and a 12mp camera.
Through time the iPhone has increased in size so whilst we question whether the iPhone 6s plus is a phone or a tablet, le’ts jump in our time machine and go back to 2012 when the iPhone 5 was released. (the small phone lover’s favourite!)
Apple are rumoured to release a 4-inch phone similar to the iPhone 5 in a range of colours including bright pink.
So, you might be thinking well isn’t that what the 5c is? Apparently not!
The phone size may be rumoured to be the same as the iPhone 5 but it will include design elements such as thinner bezels, a relocated Facetime camera, curved glass edges and the power button to be on the right side of the device. We are also hoping this could be powered by the Apple A9 chipset which is in the iPhone 6s/6s plus which is one of the best mobile chipsets around.
The new handset is scheduled to be revealed on Tuesday 15th March according to numerous reports alongside the next generation iPad Air, Apple watch 2 and – wait for it – a virtual reality headset!
As soon as we hear any more news we will keep you posted!
